Products
Single Wall Nanotubes (CVD) SWNT

NanoCraft, Inc has partnered with an important SWNT producer to make research quantities of SWNT at low prices within the USA.  These very clean and high purity nanotubes are made by CVD process with a new proprietary and patent pending catalyst that leaves no visible metal in the nanotubes.  This special SWNT forms into ropes that provide high conductivity with about 95% transmission of visible light.  These SWNT will produce high conductivity with very low weight content in any resin system.  These single wall tubes have 1 to 2 nm diameter and lengths of 2-5 microns long.  As seen in the TEM image they form ropes made of multiple tubes.  Purity is about 60% with impurities consisting of larger single wall and some double wall nanotubes and limited amorphous material.  This mixture can be used in applications without additional purification.

Initial sales will be priced at $69.95 for each 2 gram package.

Nanohorns

Single Wall Carbon Nanohorns, SWNH, belong to the single wall nanotube family. Nanohorns can be manufactured by several methods. NanoCraft, Inc uses protected proprietary and patent pending high volume production methods. Nanohorns are 2 to 3 nm in diameter and 30 to 50 nm in length with a 19 degree closed end called a horn. They form into a cluster with a diameter of about 30 to 120 nm. NanoCraft, Inc can produce nanohorns in high volume and nanohorns have the potential to be a low cost material. Nanohorns are easily produced with >90% purity indicated by TGA, X-ray diffraction and TEM analysis and nanohorns can be purified to 99.9%. Opened nanohorns have up to 1600 square meters of area per gram. Nanohorns have a uniquely wide range of applications including absorption, filtration, lubrication, super-capacitors, storage of methane, methanol fuel cells support, biomedical, field emission, adhesives, composites, electrical and much more.

Nanotubes

NanoCraft, Inc manufactures electric arc multi wall carbon nanotubes, MWNT-A. Electron microscope analysis TEM microphotographs reveal the nanotubes are 5 to 20 nm in diameter and 300 nm to 2000 nm long. TGA test show the "as produced" material is 99.5% SP2 carbon. NanoCraft, Inc.'s standard "as produced" product consisting of nanotubes (20 to 30%), nano-onion like and nano-polygonal (50 to 70%), and the remainder is graphite platelets. MWNT-A have a uniquely wide range of applications including absorption, filtration, lubrication, super-capacitors, storage of methane, methanol fuel cells support, biomedical, field emission, adhesives, composites, electrical and much more. MWNT-A are produced in high volume and have the potential to be a low cost material. MWNT-A nanotubes are resistant to high temperature and oxidation. MWNT-A exhibit the highest resistance against oxidation of all MWNTs with its maximum oxidation rate at 785 degrees C. MWNT-A are packaged in powder form ready for immediate use in TEM evaluation or application into catalytic, structural or electrical applications.
